ADA Regulations ADA 4.4.1 regulation concerning protruding objects requires that all objects should not exceed 27” in height. This is to ensure the visually impaired may detect the obstructions with a cane or a seeing eye dog. Our ADA Compliant Posts, Double Tape Posts, and Display Posts fully comply with these regulations. Our Traditional, Majestic, Metro, and Economy posts are also ADA compliant if set up correctly. We have included a diagram showing how to set up these posts so that they comply with ADA regulation 4.4.1. The diagram shows that for an 8’L rope, the posts should fall under 27”. In addition, this prevents others from tripping over the rope, as well as keeping the ropes “loose” enough to keep posts stable. 174 Crowd Control Regulations
